Energy SkilledTM operations technology programs include important content on new technology and best practices. Currently, these programs can be recognized under the following job scope. Additional operations technology job scopes may be added in the future.

  • Building Controls Systems Management programs cover how to evaluate, operate, and optimize automated control systems that manage HVAC and other building systems to improve comfort, efficiency, and performance. Technical concepts include understanding control architectures and sequences, system integration, monitoring and diagnostics, communication protocols, commissioning practices, and the cybersecurity principles needed to protect modern building automation systems.
