Heat Pump Water Heater Systems Installation for Plumbers
Heat pump water heating systems will play a crucial role in reducing carbon emissions from buildings. To achieve this, however, these systems need to be installed correctly by skilled plumbers and contractors.
This half-day course will provide unionized plumbing and heating industry workers and union-affiliated contractors with the knowledge and skills they need to successfully navigate this growing field. Students will learn what a heat pump water heating system is, how it works, and how to handle common installation and retrofit issues. This training will prepare experienced professionals to confidently apply their skills to domestic hot water electrification projects.
