The Employment Ready Heat Pump Certification is designed for students and entry level technicians to test their knowledge on the components, controls, and circuitry found on new generation as well as legacy heat pump systems. In addition, this certification evaluates an individual's ability to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot these systems.
As an added benefit, this exam provides valuable feedback to instructors as they strive to validate each participant's understanding of heat pumps, providing potential employers with a standardized measurement of a job applicant's knowledge and readiness for employment.
