Gamechanger Heat Pump Training
"Introducing the Gamechanger Heat Pump Training Event! This class should be called How to Design Heat Pumps so that customers' bills don't increase, and the customer rips the heat pump out, but we decided against it. The federal government incentivizes heat pump system installations to reduce combustion gas emissions in our communities. With this historic investment in our communities, position your business to be the best at installing and servicing heat pump systems. This course is designed for novice and experienced technicians and contractors looking to increase their knowledge of Heat Pumps. This course is an excellent preparation course for multiple industry certification exams, including BPI (Building Performance Institute) Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Technician and the NATE (North American Technical Excellence) Heat Pump Technician Exam and ESCO Institute exams. The course also qualifies for continuous education credits for those already holding industry certifications. At the end of this course, the attendees can design, select, install, and service air source heat pump systems."
Heat Pump Water Heaters 101
Heat pump water heaters are becoming more popular to combat climate change and help building owners achieve electrification. The federal and state governments have incentivized their installation to replace electric (resistive) water heaters and water heaters that utilize a combustible fuel. To accommodate a heat pump water heater, several design concerns must be considered, and additional training will be required if heat pump water heaters are to be installed and commissioned correctly. Introducing the Heat Pump Water Heaters 101 training course! This training program provides critical details on the operation and installation of heat pump water heaters. The U.S. Department of Energy has recognized this course as “Energy Skilled” in the Heat Pump Water Heater Installation category. This course is designed for building science professionals looking to increase their knowledge of heat pump water heaters.
